Fireworks Cupcakes

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July. Unfortunately I have to work on this fun holiday. I do get off at around 4 today so one would think that I would still get to enjoy myself and spend time with my family and friends, however my family lives an hour away and my boyfriend is working until about midnight. Therefore, I will be spending this day with my puppies and cleaning my house. Well enough of that, let me get to the cupcakes. I found these candy stars at my job a few weeks back and I decided to hold on to them until the fourth of July so I could make cupcakes for my coworkers. The flavor I ended up choosing for the cake was peanut butter, which is very easy to make. All you need to do is take a yellow cake mix and follow the directions on the back on the box. When done mixing add a 1/3 cup of peanut butter and bake according to the directions. Well I hope my coworkers like this tasty surprise and I hope everyones has a Happy 4th of July. :)
